                   AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING LOUISE
                   STREET LOCATED NORTHEAST FROM AUBIN AVENUE,
                   NORTHEAST OF MERONEY STREET, MORE PARTICULARLY
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
         and abandoned Louise Street located northeast from Aubin 
Avenue,
         northeast of Meroney Street, more particularly described 
herein,
         and as shown on plat attached hereto and made a part hereof by
         reference:
                Louise Street, a 30 foot wide unopened right-of-way
                beginning on the southeast line of Aubin Avenue
                (unopened) some 17 feet northeast of the
                intersection of the southeast line of Aubin Avenue
                with the southeast line of Meroney Street, and
                extending northeast between parallel lines to the
                southeast line (if extended northeastwardly) of lot
                32, Crow's Addition to Hill City, as shown by plat
                of record in plat book 2, page 7, ROHC, the
                southeast line being 341.4 feet, and the northwest
                line being some 314.7 feet.  Said street separates
                lots 24-26 and part of lot 31, from lots 32-36 and
                part of lot 37, said Crow's Addition.  Tax Map No.
                126L-C-6-9, and 126M-G-1 and 2.
               
               
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage as 
provided
         by law.
